Current President
I'm excited and privileged to lead OPEN Global as President for the 2024-2025 term. With 13+ chapters already established and growing worldwide, we're the leading organization for Pakistani and Pakistani-hyphenated professionals and friends of Pakistan, serving as a magnet for both entrepreneurs and established businesses.
Each year, we organize 100+ in-person and virtual events, delivering advisory and mentorship to numerous startups and established businesses. We also provide a platform for entrepreneurs and professionals to connect, opening new doors for growth, expansion, and wealth creation.
Last couple of months on the road, I heard many heartfelt stories about how OPEN inspired individuals to embark on successful entrepreneurial journeys. Their gratitude toward our community and desire to give back truly motivate me. I plan to capture these inspiring stories and share them to further inspire all.
As with any volunteer organization, our success depends on the hardworking volunteers and support from our sponsors. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers and sponsors for committing their valuable time and resources. We couldn’t have reached this point without their support and certainly can’t continue to grow and scale in the future without it. We are just in the first innings.
Lastly, none of this would have been possible without the vision of our founders from 25 years ago. Our organization has grown and evolved tremendously over the years, and I have no doubt OPEN will continue to evolve and grow to new heights in the near future. Please follow us to stay connected.
In everything we do, we build in the opportunity for you to get to know your colleagues. Having a strong professional network that you can call on with a difficult question helps you grow and perform your job better. Feel free to reach out to me, any of our chapter leaders, or our great staff if you have ideas or would like to get involved.
Best regards,
Abu Bakar
